Who runs CrowdTune and how to reach them: the operator in North Macedonia and the contact point for users and authorities. Last updated 10 October 2026.

Service provider

Aleksandar Trenchevski

Skopje, North Macedonia

Email: privacy@contact.crowdtune.live

CrowdTune is run by a private individual, not a registered company. My full postal address is available on request to any user, authority or rights holder who needs it.

Point of contact

For everything (users, authorities, rights holders and reports about content), the electronic point of contact is privacy@contact.crowdtune.live. Messages are accepted in English and Macedonian.

Reports about content can also go to abuse@contact.crowdtune.live. Both addresses reach the same inbox, so use whichever you prefer.

Reports about specific content are handled fastest through the report button in the app, which tells me exactly what you are looking at. See the Content & Reporting Policy.

Reporting a problem

The “Report a problem” link opens a public GitHub repository, https://github.com/trencho/crowdtune-issues. GitHub is a separate controller, and CrowdTune sends it nothing: whatever you write there, you post yourself and anyone can read it. Please do not post personal data there. To report a problem privately, email privacy@contact.crowdtune.live.

Data protection

I am the data controller for CrowdTune. The Privacy Policy explains what is collected and why, and the supervisory authority is the Agency for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of North Macedonia (Агенција за заштита на личните податоци), www.azlp.mk.

Music rights

CrowdTune is software for choosing what plays. It is not a music licence and grants no rights in any recording or composition. Whoever hosts an event is responsible for the public-performance rights that event requires. See the Terms of Service.

Third-party services

CrowdTune uses YouTube API Services. By using CrowdTune you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms; Google’s privacy practices are described at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Open-source software

CrowdTune is built on open-source software. The licence texts and notices for every production dependency of the web app are at /third-party-notices.txt.

Dispute resolution

I am not obliged to take part in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body, and I do not currently do so. Talk to me first. I would rather fix a problem than argue about it.
